Killer Gamer's Remorse Challenge

Objective: a player elimination game that is implemented in such a way that it is still fun. Maybe it is a quick game like love letter. Maybe it is a longer game but the eliminated players still have a role to play like in werewolf via the "ghost writer" ability. Or maybe you finish is off in the most glorious fashion possible, so humorous that we are dying laughing for the next 30 minutes.

As many of you know, I (Sean Howard), have long been an opponent of player elimination games. However, recently I have come to terms with my frustration and realized it isn't the mechanic i dislike-it is how badly the mechanic has been abused.

Monopoly and Risk are among the most well known offenders but my irritation flared up at recent games like Bang! where players can be eliminated and have to sit around for an hour.

Game Designers need to take note of all players, even eliminated players, to truly make an enjoyable experience for all.

To qualify, your game must comply with all of the following rules:

• Your game must implement the mechanic : player elimination, while still keeping the eliminated players engaged.
• You are welcome to use any printables or game pieces available in our shop to create your game.
• The cost of your game cannot exceed $29.99.
• A rules document must be downloadable from your game's shop page. You're welcome to and encouraged to also include the rules in the game itself.
• The game must be publish ready, meaning it has a logo, backdrop, shop ad, action shots, description, and cool factors. It must also have all images proofed, and have packaging.
• This must be a new game created for this contest. It cannot have existed on TGC prior to the contest.
• All artwork must be your own, commissioned by you, licensed to you, or in the public domain.
• All entries must be submitted through TGC's game editor (by clicking on the "Contests" button) no later than Noon UTC on May 4, 2015.
• Contestants may submit multiple entries to this contest. Each entry will be judged separately.

Notes

You retain all rights to your game and are welcome to sell it in our shop before, during, and after the contest, regardless of the outcome of the contest.

• An opportunity to judge the next contest.

The top 5 entries will also be reviewed on the Gamer's Remorse youtube channel.
