In Artist Alley, you’re a talented artist competing at a convention to make the most money by selling your creative work. Each round, a new client with a set budget enters the convention, and you and the other artists must offer your best pieces to capture their attention. But beware! Each client has their own purchasing quirks and preferences.
How to Play
Each player secretly chooses one product card from their hand and places it face down on the table. Once everyone is ready, players reveal their cards simultaneously. The client evaluates all the offers based on three straightforward yet strategic rules:
- Starts buying from the lowest-priced product until the budget runs out. Setting the right price is essential; pricing too high may lose you the sale, while pricing too low could mean a sure sale…but with smaller profits.
- Haggles at half price if there are two identical products. When a client sees the same product twice, their bargaining side comes out, and both artists must sell at half price. Will you risk offering a popular item, or play it safe with something unique to keep your full profits?
- Skips products if three or more identical items appear. If three or more artists offer the same product, the client ignores them all, leaving other players to capitalize on their misstep.

For those seeking an extra challenge, Artist Alley includes an advanced mode where each client type brings unique effects that alter purchasing conditions. From clients who only buy premium items to collectors seeking variety, these unique buyers keep you on your toes. Adapt your strategy each round to maximize sales.
