Description

This is an expansion, not a stand-alone game. You must have A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Dungeon to play.

Well, speaking literally, it's 5 expansions and a bigger box that can hold the base game and all expansions. But still, you gotta have the base game to play. And, also speaking literally, I'm not "speaking" literally. I'm typing literally.

Whatever. Not important. Getting back on point: FIVE expansions!

The Add-On expansion adds a whole new type of card for the Game Deck. These 18 cards are played with other cards to alter what they do.

The Create Your Own expansion adds 18 blank cards you can use to add your Very Own Flavor of Odd to the game.

The Marauding Monsters expansion is 18 cards that add more Monsters and more cards that focus on Monsters. There are no new rules with this expansion, just pure, Monstery Goodness.

With the Perilous Pets expansion, each player now has a pet that has an Ability and can help absorb damage when you get hurt. But if the pet does lose Health, the player that hurt you gets Glory for it. These 18 cards include a 12-card Pet Deck and 6 cards that add pet-flavored fun to other decks.

And then there is A Funny Thing Happened in the Town. This 36-card expansion adds a town to your game. Your town will have 6 locations you can visit, each of which have a special Ability that applies to all players at that location. Want a different effect? Simply move to a different location. You can even move your opponents to new location. Did someone just finish a really good Delve? Great! Send them to the Homeless Kleptomaniac Shelter where they must discard down to 3 cards. Cruel yet classic. With an 18-card Town Deck, your 6-card town will be different each time you play.

WHAT IS ART-FREE GAMES?

We believe that artwork is great, and makes a game pretty. But ultimately whether you love a game or hate it will be based on how fun it is to play.

Games are about sitting down with friends and family--and maybe even Gil, your audibly flatulent cousin--and having fun.

And so Art-Free Games was born. Our goal is to make enjoyable games that prove you don't need art to have fun.

In the end, it's all about the game.
