Armoured Outlaws

In the heart of the Australian outback, the town of Glenrowan becomes the battleground for an intense turn-based board game that brings to life the historic clash between the notorious Kelly Gang and the Victorian Police Force, June the 28th, 1880.

To cut a long story short, a group of four men became known as the Kelly Gang because of a shoot out with the law at Stringybark Creek, October 26, 1878. Their plan was to derail a train that had been sent by the police force, but it was stopped by Thomas Curnow. Police surrounded the area, led by Superintendent Hare.

The objective for the Kelly Gang is clear – survive and escape Glenrowan by collecting enough treasure to bribe the locals and officials, or eliminate all opposing police units. On the flip side, the police force's goal is equally straightforward – disable or capture every member of the Kelly Gang to bring their daring adventure to an end.

The functions of the game are easy to learn, unique and there are various strategies which players can use to battle the enemy, with a little bit of luck too. Each turn allows for strategic movement and calculated decision-making, with the outcome influenced by a combination of player skill and a touch of luck. As players navigate the board, they must decide whether to engage in direct confrontations, attempt daring escapes, or use the town's terrain to their advantage.

The game comes with access to extra 3D prints for buyers to download, print and enjoy.

Update The palstic pawns and stickers have been replaced with the standees (see last image).
