In Colors 'n' Towers, players take turns by randomly drawing a cube from a bag and placing it in a queue. Players build a tower out of the cubes that are in this queue using a First In First Out method. The provided Game Boards have slots that allow the cubes to fit and slide smoothly from the Queue to the Tower Area.
The aim of the game is to be the first player to build a tower of 10 cubes. The only problem is that when two or more cubes of the same color are in contact with each other in the Tower Area, they are destroyed. Destroying cubes may also trigger chain reactions if the order of the cubes in the tower is poor!
Luckily players also have Special Cards that allow them to destroy boxes, change their color and do other cool stuff. Once you get experienced, you might even find out that sometimes it is better to destroy one of your own boxes rather than one from the opponents' towers!
Colors 'n' Towers has recently competed in one of The Game Crafter's design challenges and managed to claim one of the few finalist positions in the challenge. Following the judges' comments, we did some further improvements to the game and the tower boards to make sure that Colors 'n' Towers provides the best gaming experience possible :)
