Place tiles, match colors, gain points, make a beautiful mosaic.
Elemental Connection
Elemental Connection is a minimalist abstract puzzle board game about making... elemental connections! Relax, think, and match the colored tiles as the board unfolds.
RULES
Procedure
- Place all tiles face down or inside of a bag, so that players cannot see the tile faces.
- Both players draw two tiles.
- The first player places a tile anywhere on the board, then draws a new tile.
- The next player places either of their two tiles adjacent to the first tile so that the edges align, then draws a new tile.
- Players take turns placing tiles in this manner, making certain to:
- always place a tile adjacent to other tiles on the board, and;
- always have two tiles to choose from on their turn.
- The game ends when the board is filled. Whomever has the most points wins!

Boards
A typical "board" is an 8x8 grid with each border having its own color. Use your available space and the rectangular border markers to create a play area that functions this way.

As you play more, you might find yourself interested in varied board shapes and sizes. Feel free to experiment! Pictured here, the 4 border markers are used to frame an imaginary 8x3 space.
