Flawed Card Game is an up-and-coming trading card game (TCG) designed by Ken Tober. Ken is a 2 time Magic the Gathering Pro Tour competitor, 4 time Force of Will Worlds Championship qualifier, and has played at the Worlds level multiple times for Kaijudo (Duel Masters) and Star Wars Destiny.

What Makes Flawed Unique?

Flawed is unique in two ways: deck construction and game play. It draws inspiration from popular games Mystic Vale, Magic the Gathering, Force of Will, Star Wars Destiny, Duel Masters and Hearthstone. Players who enjoy a high level of customization in their deck construction and/or strong player agency in game play with little variance will love Flawed.

Deck construction is very unique in Flawed. Players first "build" each card by choosing a clear essence overlay for each cardboard card. Essences add stat modifications, lines of text, and resource (mana) generation to each card. Then players construct a deck of 51 cards (50 main deck + 1 shrine) to bring to the table for gameplay.

During game play, players share a turn while alternating actions. For example, Player 1 may choose to play a card from hand as their action, and next player 2 may attack with a Unit, before the action passes back to Player 1, and so on. This "ping-pong" game play back and forth keeps both players engaged during the entirety of the game, and is sure to introduce some exciting game play!

What To Expect From the Demo Decks

This demo product is exactly that: a sample! By purchasing this product, you will receive enough cardboard cards and clear essences to construct two demonstration decks of 26 cards each. Please keep in mind that these cards are not representative of the quality of the final product when Flawed launches on Kickstarter June 2023. While we have done our best to provide you a high quality product, there can still be shifting during the printing process. Some essences may not align perfectly with the cardboard cards from this sample product. All cards are complete with full art at this time!
