For Students: The Bellydance Deck is designed to make your at-home practice more fun and interactive!
For Teachers: This is a great tool for class games. Let students take a random selection of movements and create an interesting combination or movement phrase. Use the manipulation cards to create interesting variations. Great for improvisation practice too!
For choreographers: Are you stuck for your ideas? Combined with the 16 manipulation cards, the standard movement deck becomes a useful choreographic tool to assist in the creation of your very own dance pieces!
CONTENTS:
- 16 movement manipulation cards with instructions.
- 10 practice cards with instructions.
- 80 movement cards divided into eight different movement groups; horizontal, vertical, sagittal, shimmies, turns, walks, arms, and circles.
The movements in this deck are more suited to Raqs Sharqi, Cabaret, Orientale and traditional styles of Bellydance. They do not include American Tribal Style combinations. They were designed as a tool for use in classes at Ghawazee Moon Bellydance in Canberra, Australia.
