I am a world famous expert ukulele player who has taught Tiny Tim everything he knew. It was MY tulips he tip-toed through! Actually no, I'm new to all this and I'm sorry I lied. Fact of the matter is, I'm just learning ukulele. Trying to learn the chords, transitions, and scribbling the various chords on post-its because flash cards would be really handy.
But they seem hard to find unless you're trying to learn guitar. Ukulele resources are a tad more limited. I don't want a poster, a flip book, a chord dictionary with hundreds of chords, or even complicated dial harder to use than the instrument itself to use. I just wanted some flash cards.
Since I couldn't find them, I made them. I created a custom template to produce these cards and collected 8 chords in 7 keys and put them on cards. I arranged these chords in recommended finger positions including strum instructions. You know, in case I give up and have to relearn this stuff in 6 months when I try again. I even gathered some strumming patterns, scales in C, and yes... even a few Riffs.
I did all of this to help me on my own journey so while I cannot claim any bonafides to impress you as a teacher, I made this just for me as a basic learning resource. Hopefully it can help you too. Who knows, maybe someday we can team up and take Vance Joy down a fret or three.
