Description

Introduction

An unholy army led by the Scarlet King and Queen begins conquering the Southern regions of Elipzo. Their Scarlet Legions will stop at nothing to conquer the Kingdoms of Order. The Kingdoms hold their lands valiantly, but corruption continues to spread. The Tribes fight ferociously and fear no enemy, yet the undead keep pushing forward. You are a General leading your forces for good or for evil. Take control of your army to outmaneuver and destroy your opponents army with powerful Faction Units. You will need to adapt to the battlefield if you want to save Elipzo, or conquer it.

Overview

War For Elipzo is a two person card combat game with elements of trading card games and tabletop strategy games but without the hassle of building a deck or army outside of playing. Using Cards as army units with special effects, players will move them in turn-based combat and use dice rolls to attack and use unique abilities. No need to open packs of cards to create a deck or build a tabletop army, just get straight to playing!

How to play

Each player starts by choosing 1 of 12 unique Factions belonging to 1 of the 3 Army Decks. Once players find their Faction Units they will shuffle and draw half of the corresponding Army Deck to create their deck. Each game the decks will be different, so it is up to each player to utilize all their units to the fullest!

Once players have their decks ready to go they will draw 5 cards and place them face down on their side of the game board. StartingBoard.png

Players will then take turns doing Actions for all of their cards. On your turn each card may perform one Action, either Moving or Activating. Moving is one space on the board either forwards, backwards, or sideways. Activating is either regularly attacking or activating a special ability. Attacking is done through dice rolls located on each card. ActionsExample.JPG

Players can get bonuses to their rolls through a units special abilities or from other reinforcing cards. It's up to each player to position and attack as strategically as they can to get bonuses. Once cards are reduced to zero health, players will play a new card from their deck until they have no cards left. Once a player has no cards left in their deck or on the battlefield, they lose.
