Happy Valentine's Day from Cog and The Game Crafter! We’ve got so much love and gratitude for our amazing community of 400,000 game designers and gamers. We appreciate the constant flow of kind words, photos, and stories that you share with our team. Thank you!
Fun Fact: The Game Crafter has a lot of Heart. 38,714 to be exact, with only 2,000 of them broken. :)
The Game Crafter now makes Custom Printed D8 Dice and Custom Printed D4 Dice! They feature full-color printed faces on white acrylic dice.
In January we ran our first ever site wide sale, where a whole group of games could opt into a sale together. It was a huge success!
391 games participated in the sale for 14 days. Discounts ranged from 5-30% off retail price. 1,578 games were sold as part of the sale, averaging 112 games sold per day! Because of this success, we're going to do more of these types of community sales.
The next one is called the TCG Sale and it will run for a week, beginning March 6th. This sale is for those of you with trading card games (TCG), collectible card games (CCG), expandable card games (ECG), and living card games (LCG).

The Meta-Progression Challenge is a chance to design a game in which the players may replay the game again and again with some advantage or tweak that they didn’t have the last time. Each play may be a new experience without the need to irreparably alter components like a legacy game or create a set of new missions, stories, or maps like a campaign. Imagine a cooperative game that gets harder each time it is won, or a quick racing game that allows players to spend their winnings to change parts on their car between races, or a sports game where players can manage their team and draft better talent between kick-offs.
The possibilities are endless and it’s up to the player to decide how they want to shape their experience. Enter now and push the boundaries of what a game can be!
Note: Entries must be submitted no later than 7pm US Central on April 30, 2023.
