Jumbo Hook Box, Crafter Con Live Stream, Protospiel Madison

Every newsletter we've seen in the past month has mentioned some pumpkin spice nonsense! Don't worry, we won't be talking about that here. :) Instead, we'll talk about our new game box, several new board game pieces, and a free live stream event that will help you become a better game designer.

Jumbo Hook Box

We are pleased to announce our new Jumbo Hook Box! This is similar in design to our Poker Hook Box, but larger so that it can hold our 3.5″ x 5.5″ Jumbo Cards. It is made of 16pt matte card stock and holds 36 Jumbo Cards. It is fully printed on all sides, which means you can print your rules on the inside of the box!

Crafter Con Live Stream

Crafter Con is The Game Crafter’s very own game design convention that focuses on education to make you a better game designer. It happens the day before Protospiel Madison and features a track of seminars and workshops with industry experts.

The event's live stream will allow you to watch all of the sessions for free. The stream will go live on Thursday, October 17th at 8:45am CT with sessions running from 9am-9pm CT. (Note the breaks for lunch and dinner)

Protospiel Madison

The country's best game design convention has come to Madison, Wisconsin!

If you are a game designer looking to get professional level feedback from other designers there is no better place to get that feedback. With around 100 other designers in attendance you'll have the opportunity to play test your designs many times through-out the weekend. And the friendships you'll make will last a lifetime.

If you're a gamer who likes to try out new things, then Protospiel is also likely the best experience you'll have. You'll get to see dozens if not hundreds of new designs in a single weekend. Community Updates

Crafter Con (Oct 17) This is The Game Crafter’s very own game design convention and it happens the day before Protospiel Madison. The focus is on education to make you a better game designer. It features a seminars, workshops with industry experts, and a playtesting room to work on your games with other designers.

Protospiel Madison (Oct 18-20) If you are a game designer, you should always try and attend Protospiel events. It's the best place to playtest your games and get honest feedback about your game from other game designers. Protospiel Chicago is in Madison, Wisconsin. The event is powered by Tabletop.Events.

BGG.Con (Nov 20-24) The Game Crafter will have a demo booth to show off all our sample boxes, components, and game pieces. Visit Tavis at booth 517 to see our latest products and get a free gift. (Note: this is not our Board Game Candy booth)

Protospiel Nottingham UK (Nov 23) Another great Protospiel event that you should attend. This one is unique in that it is the first official Protospiel event in the United Kingdom! It will take place in Nottingham, UK and is powered by Tabletop.Events.
