Description

Conflicting Ore'ders is a shared worker AND shared resource game where each player takes the role of an executive at a mining company gathering resources from a mine that is about to collapse. Direct the workers to gather the resources that you need to meet your goals!

Setup

  1. Setup the board using one of the board layout guide cards. Or, use your own creativity and setup the board anyway you choose!
  2. Draw 2 calamity action cards.
  3. Draw 4 goal cards; select 2 and discard the others.
  4. Roll dice to determine who will go first.
  5. Place the ore in the supply, and then workers on their respective break rooms.

Gameplay

Players take turns rolling dice, moving 2 of the 3 miner meeples, playing calamities and collecting ore until one pile has all been mined. All workers and extracted ore are shared, that is, there is a single collection of ore that all players are contributing towards.

Turn Actions

  1. You may play one calamity action card at any point on your turn, which may cause part of the mine to collapse!
  2. Roll the dice, then choose two workers to move.
  3. If a worker lands in any of the break rooms, draw a calamity card.
  4. Every worker, even the one that was not moved, collects ore. Take an ore cube from the supply that matches the location of each worker and put it in the shared collection.

End Game

When one or more ore has been completely mined, the game ends after the current players turn has completed. Each player reveals their goal cards and counts how many of each set they have, gaining (or losing!) points as indicated on their goal cards.

The winner is the player with the most points at the end of the game!
