WELCOME PROSPECTIVE DRIVERS

Do you seek thrills? Do you wish to control (or create) chaos? Or is it honor you're after? I can tell just by looking at your face, you want to become the next Official Bus Driver for Dumpston Transit Authority [DTA].

Your assignment is simple.

Collect FARES by picking up PASSENGERS and dropping them off at their respective STOPS.

Pick up PASSENGERS and drop them off using STOPS in order to collect their FARES.

Your bus holds up to 5 passengers at a time so use those seats wisely!

Notice each passenger has one or more traits.

...like SEXY, OLD, and CHAD. Stops often include TRAITS and indicate which passengers can get on or off when a stop is played.

The game ends after the 5th stop is played so study your hand for passengers and stops that will make the most of your route before the end of the line.

On your turn, take a single action. Use it to add a passenger to your bus, drop off passengers at a stop, or sabotage fellow drivers by playing on their bus.

Once any bus completes its 5th stop, the game reaches THE END OF THE LINE. At that point, all drivers drop off any remaining passengers, then count their collected fares out loud, in unison, while staring each other in the eyes.

The driver who collects the most fares is named the BUS CHAMPION, the highest honor known to bus operators.

Sound like a joy ride? Think again!

Not all passengers pay their fare and are indicated as DEMERITS. In fact, some have been known to fill up entire buses, take hostages, or even explode the bus! If you end up with one on your bus, make sure you get rid of it by THE END OF THE LINE. Drivers must discard one COLLECTED FARE for each Demerit card left on their bus.

Stops are not always your friend either. Other drivers may use them to add additional riffraff to your bus.

Keep your eyes peeled.

You never know what boons and busts your route will bring, but you always have to be ready to react. This is the full bus experience.

Remember this, the point isn't to have a perfect route, you just need to do better than the rest of the drivers. Good Luck!
