Solo card game of space adventure, resource management and combat.
"The story goes that you inherited a rust bucket ship “The Yabby” from your late father and decided to do some privateer work. You start by building up your reputation and stumbled into the privateer jobs as a Merchant , a Mercenary or a Pirate to make your way in this small slice of space."
Space Privateer Command is space adventure game that will have the player to complete 3 story missions to increase your reputation by doing reputable jobs as a space privateer. This game is played on 20 cards with 6 planet cards which the player can visit.
In each planet, there is the all-important “bar” to get the latest gossip and a shipyard to refuel and repair your ship. Also present are 3 commodities which players can buy/trade and then fly to a different planet to sell/trade in the trading post of each planet. Agricultural planets will need tech items, whereas mining planets will need food; so, a shrewd privateer could make a small profit by ferrying goods. Nevertheless, the prices of goods often fluctuate so privateers be wary.
If being a merchant is not to your liking, players can also apply for jobs ranging from transporting VIP to patrol duties within the sector. During the players travel they will encounter pirates or militia who will try to rob you or destroy you depending on the type of goods you are ferrying (or depending on your reputation), so getting enough Kredits to hire crew members with special skills and upgrading your ship with some shields and missiles slots is a priority.
So, strap yourself into the captain’s chair and blast some pirates or perhaps bribe your way out of sticky situations so you and your crew can live long enough to smuggle more contraband another day.
