“Zombies in our neighborhood” is a Solitaire card and dice game using grid movement, dice rolls and resource management. It’s the zombie apocalypse and your neighborhood has been overrun by the walking dead. You convince your buddy to fly you back home to pick up your family and bring them back to the base. Upon arriving in your neighborhood, you notice it's been overrun by the walking dead and all hell has broken loose. Your family is scattered throughout the neighborhood and you must rescue all of them. Your wife and two kids are holed up in different locations throughout the neighborhood and you need to find them and bring them to safety before the zombies get to them!
of players: 1 player - Solitaire game
Age group: 12+ Game time: 20 to 30+ min
Victory conditions and a perfect score: Rescue all three family members alive, have six left on your health, six left on your ammo and move to the Helicopter pad on the roof.
Minimum Victory conditions: Rescue at least one family member alive and make it to the Helicopter pad on the roof.
Losing conditions: If your health falls below one, lose all three family members or the house you're in gets overrun by more than three zombies; you lose the game!
Victory points breakdown: Reach the helicopter at full health, full ammo, and with all three family members alive = 150 VP’s total. • Minus 10 VP’s for each Health point below [6] for a max loss of 50 VP’s • Minus 10 VP’s for each Ammo point below [6] for a max loss of 50 VP’s • Minus 20 VP’s for each family member lost for a max loss of 40 VP’s
