Renaissance Characters & Castles is a set of ten high-resolution, customizable illustrations of various characters and two high-resolution, customizable illustrations of a castle and a keep. The downloadable file contains high resolution versions of the illustrations in both Gimp and Photoshop formats.

You couldn't ask for more for less than $1 per illustration.

Color customization

You can customize each illustration's colors. Each illustration has the colors set into separate layers so that you can change the colors of each character's clothes, weapons, armor, hair and skin color and so much more. Likewise, the castles have various colors for landscape, stone, roofs, and flags in different layers.

Don't like my colors? No worries, just change them. Want to use gradients? Just replace the colored area on a layer with the right gradient.

Create factions

Change the color of dress or armor to use the same characters for different factions.

Add new races

Change the hair and skin tones to use the same illustration for various races, including fantasy and alien skin and hair colors.

Transparent Backgrounds

Each illustration can have a transparent background. This feature lets you use individual illustrations against various backgrounds or landscapes and lets you easily fit them into your designs.

High resolution illustrations

Each file contains a large-sized image. This high resolution is perfect for cropping the image or featuring on large, printable game components.

Castles

Photoshop and GIMP files

The files were prepared in both .PSD and .XCF file formats to use with your favorite graphics editors. The image is divided into various color layers, divided either by color or illustration feature (e.g., clothing, armor, helmet, fabrics, gloves, etc.).

Silhouette Layer

Each file also includes a black silhouette layer for use as icons or other use.
