Ahoy there, mateys! Welcome to 7 Seas: The Pirate King, the exciting and immersive game that will have you setting sail on the high seas to become the most feared pirate of them all. With a unique pirate map board, ship and crew, a leveling up player mat, simultaneous turns, & exhilarating battles, 7 Seas offers a thrilling and engaging gameplay experience that will keep you hooked from start to finish.
This game was a semi finalist in the Dice Mitigation Contest. As such it utilizes various ways you can alter (or "mitigate") the dice outcomes to not have them be as random. Some ways 7 Seas: The Pirate King utilizes dice mitigation:
- Cards that let you alter dice values after rolling them
- Cards that give you more reroll chances when traveling through the Devil's Triangle & in Battle
- A stat you may increase to permanently give you more rerolls
- Crew members that increase stats giving you more dice to roll & rerolls
- Unique dice (Sicherman's Low d6) with the six sides being: 1, 2, 2, 3, 3, 4 (increasing chances of 2's & 3's being rolled)

Overview
Who Will Become The Pirate King?
7 Seas Board 
Turn Order: Turns happen simultaneously! Secretly pick where you will sail, and what 2 actions you will do once you get there. Once you've decided where you are sailing & what 2 actions, you must say, "Yaarrr!" and make a pirate hook with your finger to let the other players know you're ready. Once all players have "Yaarrrr'd," then everyone reveals, sails, and resolves their 2 actions. If 2 or more players end up in the same sea they Battle!
Battle: Roll your dice depending on your Cannons stat + any modifiers from cards, 2x Speed, or Battle Action. Higest roll wins! After all dice manipulation and rerolling has been done, each 4 rolled is a Critical Hit & gain 1VP per 4 in this way. Other players pay winner gold based on winner's Boarding Stat. Winner gains VPs based on Infamy Stat.
Devil's Triangle: Push your luck to travel farther when sailing! You may travel to anywhere through the devil's triangle. But beware, it's treachurous seas! Roll 5 dice if you travel through the Devil's Triangle. You gain more loot if you roll three or more 4's. You lose gold and potentially cards if you roll 1's! Navigation Stat lets you reroll all 5 dice.

- This game contains a premium upgrade where the printed components will be embossed with a linen texture.
- This game contains laser cut components. Laser cut items will have a slight amount of soot around the edges, which can easily be wiped off; and will have a campfire smell for about a week after you open them.
