A Questionable Host is a quick to learn ice breaker and social deduction game for 2 players.
To play: randomly select one player to be the host, the other will be the guest. The host will place the card on the table with the wine glasses showing. They will choose, but not reveal, whether to point the poison (black half of the card) towards themselves or their guest. The guest will then ask a question about the host to which they do not know the answer. The host will answer the question. After the host answers, the guest may choose to, without looking at the reverse side of the card, rotate the card 180 degrees.
When answering, if the host currently has the poison they must answer with the truth, if their guest currently has the poison they must answer with a lie.
The guest must try and figure out if their host is trying to poison them. Which answers feel like lies, which ones might be the truth?
After 3 questions the guest must drink their wine by flipping their card to show whether there is poison on the reverse of their wine glass. If they have the poison they lose. If they do not, they win!
A Questionable Host is great game for any event where people are just getting to know each other, such as corporate events, speed dating or as a party game, but it's just as fun to play with your family & friends and find out things you may or may not want to know!
