Below is a Print-and-Play version of this game in .PDF form along with the instructions. If you print the cards out change your printer settings to print on both sides (duplex). Set the duplex settings to flip on the long side. This will allow you to print the backs of the cards. If you do print the cards and play the game, all feedback and suggestions are welcomed! A Shilling for the Soul is a 2-8 player resource control card game that is easy to learn and fun to play! Buy back the soul of a deceased loved one who was taken by The Blackness. Beware of other Lords and Ladies who may claim to be worthy allies assisting you in your quest, but are really treacherous backstabbing traitors with their own agendas.
Gather resources and build a Fortress to protect your Workers and Knights from danger! Build a Windmill to earn extra Resource cards. Upgrade your Knights and raid other player's buildings to delay their strategy! Release a Soul Taker upon a player's Worker to slow their progress down! Join in an Alliance with other players to earn Coins along side of you, but make sure they don't surpass you in Coins!
Do whatever you must to survive in this dark land!
In A Shilling for the Soul, you gather Resources to build progress cards and hire Workers. These cards will assist you in earning Coins to save up enough to buy back the soul of your dearly lost love. Use these Worker cards to create a team to which you are assigned to. Join teams with other players to create an Alliance with that player to help assist each other in earning Coins.
Deploy Knights to collect special benefits and raid your opponents' buildings to prevent them from achieving victory. Or take the honorable path and trade Resources with other players to build Churches, earning you income. Earn an honest living by hiring Workers to labor for you in the fields. There is more than one path that leads to victory!
Beware of the Blackness that travels across the land searching for its next victim to consume!
