Description
A Taste for the King is a fast paced medieval feasting party game in which players must push their luck to achieve victory. Players take on the role of rival kings gathered at a feast in a last-ditch attempt to bring peace to the lands and the league of taste testers charged with keeping them safe through the festivities. They take turns drawing dish cards in an attempt to eat everything on the menu while dodging the poisoned dishes. If their taster should succumb to two poisoned dishes their turn is over while the boy runs off to fetch the next taster.

The types of card in the game
The Paper Edition is designed to increase sustainability, utilising no plastic or metal parts. This is achieved by swapping out the "disposable" plastic dry erase marker in favour of reusable chits for scoring. It comes with a wonderful burlap bag to keep the chits safe after they have been punched out. The paper edition comes in a harder wearing box to keep the components extra safe.
A Taste for the King can be played straight or with an element of medieval feast roleplay. Feel free to ham it up with various regal characters of your own design!
