Introducing Animus: Fractured Echoes! This powerful new add-on set doesn’t expand the lore, but it elevates the Animus gameplay you already know and love to a whole new level.

At the heart of Fractured Echoes are the Dice Decks. This set includes 5 decks of cards, enough for up to 4 players and a Nemesis, so you’re prepared for any Animus gaming scenario. These decks replace the traditional dice rolls, giving players more control and strategy during combat. Each deck contains 12 cards, numbered 1 to 6, and instead of rolling dice, you’ll draw cards in place of each die you would roll. This means your outcomes are no longer left purely to chance—you’ll have the power to influence the battlefield in entirely new ways.

And don’t worry, you now have even more control over the dice rolls. At the end of any player’s turn, you may be able to shuffle the discards from the Dice Deck back into it, allowing you to influence what comes next and gain more agency over your fate.

Speaking of fate, let’s talk about the Fate Cards. When one of your characters falls in battle, you’ll earn a Fate Card to add to your Dice Deck. These cards bring special effects and allow you to modify your probabilities, turning even a tough loss into an opportunity for a comeback.
