Know where you're going, and where you've been - in style!
This is a set of deluxe Path Markers for the Arkham Horror Living Card Game! It will help you keep all the locations in proper order, and turns the location card layout into a beautiful map. Each location will clearly indicate it's connected locations, as well as if those connections are one-way trips.
This is set #1, themed for the most common connections. It comes with:
To add some wonderful card stands to this path marker set, see: Arkham Horror LCG Paths Set 1 - Grass & Wood w/ STANDS
This set has a grass theme on one side for "outdoor" connections, and a wood floor theme on the other side for "indoor" locations. This has no game-play effect, but it does look great! Both sides feature hand-painted, fine-art style artwork - not just some random stock photo. This enhances the gorgeous art and style of Arkham Horror's cards as you play. The effect on the location layout is transformative, and you will love the look and feel of the board as you succumb to the horrors of the mysterious unknown.
In addition to clearly defining the location paths, the large location "bases" provide some extra space around the location cards for placing counters, minis, standees, cards, or whatever might be collected at a location. The location cards themselves are therefore easier to use and read, while confusion as to which things are where is minimized. The weight and thickness of the markers reduces accidental movement, and forms a nice playing surface.

Side B:
The markers are made of durable 60 point (0.06 inches) thick chipboard, with a pleasing linen texture and protective coating, so they will remain beautiful for years to come. As per all laser cut items, they will have a slight amount of soot around the edges, which can easily be wiped off. There is also a campfire smell for about a week after you open them (from the laser cutting, not from passing through unimaginable burning doorways to dimensions of fire and terror).
The Arkham Horror LCG Path Marker Set 1 - Grass and Wood is a handsome upgrade for your adventures in the realms of Lovecraftian horror. These markers not only improve the look and feel of the game board, they also add clarity and simplicity to game play. We all know how easy it is to loose track of which locations are valid during those tense games. These path markers are a great tool for new players learning the ropes, yet remain useful for the experienced player as well. The slow but inevitable slide into eternal madness has never been so pleasing to behold!
