Game Objective: Acquire and place your crystals

1) In a battle for the spiritual throne between the forces of light and darkness, the King wins when it has placed two matching sets of 12 positive crystals on the 24 designated board squares, or two matching sets of 12 negative crystals in the case of the Usurper.

2) The King is represented on the board by four kings and the Usurper by four usurpers. Each king begins with three positive crystals and each usurper begins with three negative crystals and must acquire the matching crystal on the board to activate its positive or negative energy.

3) When any of the four kings or four usurpers has acquired all three matching crystals, they can move to any altar square on the board and place their starting set of crystals and then to any other altar square on the board to place their matching set of crystals.

Game Objective: Transfer and defend your crystals

4) Each king/usurper can transfer its crystals by moving to a different altar. Doing so displaces and deactivates their opponent’s crystals, which are returned to their original board positions.

5) For as long as it remains on the central ARROGAVI-T throne grid, the individual king/usurper is able to lock in and defend its crystals, which are safeguarded from being displaced and deactivated.
