Arthur's Realm

Arthur's Realm is an exciting game that tells a story of Arthurian legend through game play. Win or lose, the game is entertaining to all because all players will have the opportunity to affect the story and the outcome in fun and intriguing ways. Arthur's Realm is heavy on player interaction, player cooperation and seasoned with a bit of take-that treachery!

HOW TO PLAY

In Arthur's Realm players are divided into 2 teams. One team is loyal to King Arthur. The other team is composed of usurpers and other characters of infamy.

Each player controls a small band of characters. Characters are composed of four attributes: Combat, Quest, Social and a bonus ability of some kind.

Combat is of course used to battle and kill opposing characters. Social is used to seduce and befriend opposing characters that they might switch loyalties.(Players never change loyalties, but characters can switch sides.) Quest is used to adventure.

Combat and Social conflicts are handled a simple system of comparing die plus attributes. Conflicts can be modified by situational cards (often earned by questing) and by assists from allies and companions allowing for a simple system with many tactical choices.

Each character has a personal goal to achieve. Accomplishing personal goals unlocks the team goal and the path to victory.
