Background Story

In the far-off galaxy of Nebulon, a wave of freshly graduated alien creatures is facing the harsh reality of a struggling space economy. With no jobs in sight, these young aliens are forced to move back into their parents’ basements, or as they call it, the “Underworld.”

But all is not lost! They must tap into their creativity and resourcefulness to carve out a living. The annual “Galactic Hustle” competition is just around the corner, and these young hopefuls must prove their mettle by hitting weekly financial targets and outshining their peers. The grand prize? Funding to kickstart their very own space venture.

Will you rise to the challenge and become the ultimate Astroloaf, or will you be left loafing in space?

How To Play

1. Pick An Unplayed Astroloaf Card

(9 available cards)(Each with different starting items)

2. Pick An Unplayed Trend Forecast / Tracker Card

(9 available cards)(The card shows round financial targets and what colors are trending each round. One color may be untrendy one round (worth less) and trendy the next (worth more) making for a good buy-low sell-high moment)(Each card has unique color trends)

3. Take Any Four Active Actions

(See the six action types below. The four main actions can't be used again until refreshed.)

Actions
Buy - purchase items for later resell. Target non-trendy colors that round for better deals
Dye - change colors of your owned items to match trends and sell for higher prices
Sell - sell items for credits and to meet financial targets. Hats buy and sell for 1 credit, hoodies 2, jeans 3, and shoes 4.
Supply - buy supplies to boost company efficiencies (e.g. dye colors, employees, storage, buy locations)
Refresh - reactivate all used main actions. A previously used main action can't be used again until refreshed.
Restock - discard and draw all new items in buying locations to find items or colors needed to buy.

4. See If You Advance To The Next Round

Take four more actions if you advanced and see if you can advance to the next round.

6. End Game

If your credit balance at the end of a round is less than the target, you’ve been eliminated from the Galactic Hustle.

Write the number of rounds you completed directly on your Astroloaf card. This character card is finalized and won't be played again.

Attempt to beat high scores of previously played characters or complete the final round and win the “Galactic Hustle” competition.

Replayability

The main game will come with 9 one-time-play-only characters and tracking cards (18 combined)

Booster packs will be made available for purchase for additional characters and tracking cards to play.

Stretch Goals

25 Units - new rare character added to booster pack options. Character will have better starting items.

50 Units - additional rare character added to booster pack options.

100 Units - new ultra-rare character added to booster pack options. Character will have even better starting items.

200 Units - additional ultra-rare character added to booster pack options.

500 Units - holographic "god booster pack" option
