Bases Loaded

An adjective-stacking, brain-racking word game for 3-8 players... with no baseball knowledge required!

In the game of Bases Loaded, you want to score as many points as you can by strategically stacking “loaded” cards (adjectives and modifiers) on top of “base cards” (nouns). You'll need to keep on your toes because a new loaded card (or base card!) could be played at any time, drastically changing the field of the game! As the bases get loaded, and the stakes get higher, you'll need to be careful that you don't strike-out with wrong answers! Stay in the game, swing for the grand slam... and you could leave a winner!

Michelle places the base card VEGETABLE and the first loaded card, GREEN. Who will call out an answer first?

Henry answers first with "kale", then places the second loaded card, BITTER. Now who can name a BITTER, GREEN VEGETABLE first??

Bianca answers first with "broccoli", then switches the game up and replaces the base card with a new one: EMOTION. The race is on to name a BITTER, GREEN EMOTION!

Michelle comes out swinging with "envy"!

And so the inning continues, until one player is able to hit a GRAND SLAM and end the round!
