Basketball Math Champions

Basketball Math Champions is a sports based math game that kids love to play.The game has been tested inside the classroom for over 5 years. Kids learn math without even knowing it, and they are motivated to improve their math skills in order to WIN! Learn math in an all new and exciting way. Three teams of 2 play in a round robin format. While two teams compete, the third team acts as referees. Select your math model (from basic math through Algebra) The teams roll dice to determine ball possession. The first team Rolls the dice and tries to Shout out the answer first. If they win they get to Pass the ball. If they lose the opponents steal the ball and start their possession. After two or three passes take a shot. Look at the Shot Outcome Chart for your shot outcome results. Teams agree on a time limit for each game. The winners challenge the referees and the losers become the referees.
