BlackBox TCG

This game is so simple the rules are laid out on a single card. BlackBox TCG was designed with three philosophies in mind.

1) Mental Math should be very limited or non-existent

2) You should be able to step away from the game and come back without having to re-remember every condition that happened on the field

3) There should be multiple strategies and different ways to win the game, there should not ever be a dominant strategy

BlackBox under these three rules was created so very easily you can pick up the game like you would poker or blackjack, the difference being of course that it plays out as a strategy game similar to "Magic the Gathering" or "Yu-Gi-Oh". A free version of the game is actually available on Discord ( Join the BlackBox Discord Server! ). This version is a little different from the TCG as it can have rules/mechanics that would be overly complex to have in a TCG. You can get a feel for the game and play with veterans who have already gotten really good at the game as well as even face off against the Game Master.

BlackBox will have booster packs to help customize your game! All cards are designed to be balanced around the utility they provide and therefore the rarity of the card designates how much utility the card provides. A standard booster deck provides 50 cards, enough for a player to build one deck (40 cards) OR enough to play with two people (50 cards), so you can introduce the game to other players!
