Boone's Trace: blazing the wilderness road is a 1-2 player game that takes 30-45 minutes.

Daniel Boone, the intrepid frontiersman, is blazing a path through the mountains to the wild and bountiful land of Kentucky. But the journey is perilous.

He’ll have to carefully manage his food and supplies by hunting, trapping and trading along the way. He also has to contend with the tribes who own the land and the brutal terrain that could fatigue a traveler beyond hope. And then there’s the winter weather that’s always at his heels. Can he make it through the mountains before winter with enough supplies to survive in this new wild land?

Gameplay Description

The goal of the game is to naviage through the 12 map cards and make it to your homestead in Kentucky. But there are some things that might get in you way:

• You you need a certain amount of food and supplies to travel, and you can only carry a limited amount. So you'll have to stop and gather more.

• You need enough stamina to move to new regions which is effected by how far you travel and what your elevation change has been

• Your traveling through a lot of Tribe land, so you will probably need to bestow some gifts to travel freely, or risk the consequences.

• You're supposed to survey as much of the land as possible, but that will eat up precious resources.

• Winter is always chasing you, and if it catches you, there are dire consequences.

But have no fear, you have some things that will help you along the way:

• You have the option of stopping along the way to gather whatever food, supplies or pelts are available.

• There are settlements that let you trade for supplies and food.

• You have a scout that will travel ahead of you and give you bonus supplies when you catch up to them

• If you keep a good relationship with the Tribes, they will give you gifts along the way.
