In a quiet, pristine, innocent little village, THERE IS A WITCH! Or at least someone accused another of being one. It seems a good old fashion witch trial is in the order. The stakes are lit, and the fire is blazing. Who is the witch? Who will be burned? Good Judge, save us all!
Burn That Witch! is a social, deduction, point-taking game designed to tear friends and family apart, only to bring them closer together and in a tighter bond... with a common hatred against witches! The game is played similar to Werewolf or Mafia, but with a few twist. A secret role is passed out to all players, and a Judge must determine who to burn at the stakes. Add to it a Snooping phase (which you can peek around at another player’s card), an Accusation phase (which you accuse someone of being a Witch), and couple it with a creative scoring system that incites secret agendas and manipulative actions. There is no team in this game, and everyone works for himself or herself. Often the case, even if you are an innocent villager, it might be your best interest to keep those Witches unburned! Lies, deceptions, misinformation, false accusations, mixed with sliver of truth, are all part of fun in any good old fashion Witch Trial! So grab some soon to be former friends, and get into a game of Burn That Witch!
Disclaimer: No actual witches were harmed in the making of this game.
