Card of Chaos

Card of Chaos is a dexterity party game, in which you throw items, trying to hit a target. Accuracy gets you points, and whoever reaches 10 points first, is the winner!

Setup: Flip the card and place it on a table, with the Target face up. The youngest player starts playing first.

You may use various objects (such as books) to surround the card, if you find it hard to hit the Target.

How to play: The players take turns throwing things at the Target, from 7 feet (2 meters) distance. They can throw any solid item: coins, beer caps, even couches! But they can't use liquids, sharp objects or dangerous items. Players get points depending on where the object lands, after it stops moving.

During a throw, the opponents must be at least 2 feet (half a meter) away from the Target and the player who throws the object. The opponents may swing their hand in the air, once per turn, in an attempt to stop the throwing object. Whoever successfully stops the object, plays next and the turn continue from there, potentially skipping other players.

Nobody should touch the table or card during the throw. If the opponents try to cover the card, or touch the object while it touches the table (such as a rolling coin) the turn is repeated but the player who was in error does not participate, until next turn. The opponents must not talk to each other and coordinate their swing attack.

Score: Players get points for accuracy. If an object touches the Red Target, whoever threw it gets 5 points. Touching only the card’s white color gets 4 points. If the object is within 5 fingers, gets 3 points and within 10 fingers gets 2 point. If the object touches the card but lands far away without getting any points, the player gains 1 point.

The players use their fingers to keep score. Whoever reaches 10 points first, wins the game!
