Cardacular is a quick, easy-to-learn game that gets increasing difficult as you go. There are only six rules of Cardacular:
Each player starts the game with one card in hand.
Players draw a card each turn and play a card each turn.
“Rule” cards remain in play once played, even after the player who plays them loses. “Effect” cards immediately go to the discard pile after player’s turn.
When playing a card, the player must read it out loud. If it’s a rule card, the player doesn’t have to obey that rule while reading it, but must obey rules already in play. The player may paraphrase.
If the deck runs out of cards, shuffle the discard pile and start a new deck.
If everyone else loses, you win.
That's it! Each card is self-explanatory and they have a multitude of effects. Many of them place limits on what you can say so if you forget and trip up, you're out. The last one standing is the winner!
