Description

Cellix is a Trading Card game boasting a total of 498 unique cards in its first set. Each card has 4 levels on it, which represent changes in power, abilities and strength. You must compete for the demands of mana costs, defense against your opponent and dealing damage to your opponent's life.

The game uses a large range of mechanics that vary from easy to difficult and would be familiar to players of other card games and for beginners.

Each booster pack contains: 1 Super Rare card, 2 Rare cards, 5 Uncommon cards and 10 Common cards.

You can buy unpackaged booster packs on this page
Or Packaged booster packs here: Cellix - Packaged [www.thegamecrafter.com]

Gameplay:

At the start of the game each player draws 5 cards. Every turn players gain mana which is used to play creatures.

On a player's turn they can summon creatures, move creatures between the offensive zone (Where creatures are allowed to declare combats) or the defensive zone (Where creatures are able to block an opponent's creatures' combats). Each Creature can only do one action per turn including: declaring a combat, blocking another creature's combat or using its abilities.

If a player chooses not to block an incoming attack or has no creatures able to block they will take damage and lose life. You win the game if your opponent's life reaches 0.

The Cards:
Each card has 4 power levels with 4 associated mana costs that define its level. It also has abilities that are associated with each level and the card can gain new powers as it levels up or the abilities will scale to do larger more terrifying effects.

Keywords:
Similar to magic and other trading card games there are keywords that are in the game. Keywords are explained on each card to help with the learning curve of the game and for beginners of card games in general.
