Players receive a set of cards after shuffling the deck, and must choose a secret Lucky Charm card that they keep face down until the end. They take turns drawing a card, and placing on the table combinations from cards of their hand (same color cards; numerical sequences; or same color and sequence).
Any player can capture others' combos with Spades cards (Black cats) for points. Outbid a capture with a higher Spades card to steal from the stealer, or win back your combo. Don't forget to gather cards that match your secret Lucky Charm.
Each player grows their own pile of cards from combinations they played or captured, adding to it Spades cards used during successful captures.
Game ends when the draw pile empties and unplayed cards still in hands are ignored. Players each reveal their Lucky Charm card: They score points for each card in their pile matching the color or number of their Lucky Charm, and also gain points equal to the face value of said Lucky Charm.
The player with the highest final score wins.
Game designer's suggestion - If you like games where you can tease each other, you can impose the following additional rule: a combination capture is invalid, if the player forgets to say "Chat Noir"! Have fun, and thanks for playing this game :-)
