Description
City of Fortune is a combination role selection and worker placement game. Players take on various roles in a fairly new and industrious city. Each role has special abilities that must be performed and each role has a different way to score points.
At the beginning of each round, a player with the First Player card begins by selecting a role, using it's ability, placing a house, and then collecting points based on the role. Unused roles get additional points tacked onto them to make them more desirable for the next round.
Once the city has been built, the game ends and points are tallied. While there is some element of luck when it comes to which city tiles appear throughout the game, the game itself is very focused on player interactions and strategy.

- This game contains laser cut components. Laser cut items will have a slight amount of soot around the edges, which can easily be wiped off; and will have a campfire smell for about a week after you open them.
