Description

Invented in the 1880's, Halma is a time-tested survivor among board games, entertaining friends and families for over 130 years. Two or four players strive to be the first to move their pieces past each other to the opposite side of the board, jumping over opponents' and even their own pieces along the way. This edition includes the main 16x16 quad-fold game board, as well as 10x10 and 8x8 games on a reversible large square board.

NOTE: Rules for play are no longer included. You may easily find rules for play on the web.

NOTE: Due to The Game Crafter discontinuing their boxes, this game is now published without a box.

An alternative Halma set with board sizes 16x16 and 10x10 printed on mats is available here: https://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/halma

Catamount Games is dedicated to making available those traditional, abstract, or obscure games that have been neglected or short-shrifted in today's marketplace. For more detailed information on any of these games, click the links to the right for "Free Downloads" and "More Info."
