Description
Over the past several years, you’ve built a reputation as the best air traffic controller in the business, and your hard work has just paid off. You’ve been promoted! As a result, you’ve also been reassigned to the busiest airspace on the planet. Unfortunately, close calls have been common here, but your supervisor expects much better results out of you. Can you rise to rule the skies?
Aircraft tiles are drawn from the bag and placed at their designated starting locations.
As the air traffic controller, you can make slight adjustments to the aircraft on your board, rotating them, bumping them forward, or pushing them out of your airspace. However, the number of adjustments are limited.
In between adjustments, the aircraft tiles move across the board according to pre-determined flight patterns.
The red, gray and blue aircraft move separately with adjustments made in between. Balloons then move according to the wind.
After the balloons move, the wind may shift, then new aircraft tiles are added to the board and a new round begins. After a few rounds, the board can get quite crowded.
Guide aircraft tiles to their Home locations to score points, but if you make the wrong adjustments, a Close Call occurs.
Score 10 points and you win the game! If you have too many Close Calls before then, however, you get fired!
Add Special Tiles during setup to increase difficulty or add twists.
Your boss has a decision to make: Who gets the next big promotion? To help with that decision, you'll be sharing air traffic control duties with the other leading candidate. There are two ways to rise to the top: Perform with excellence, or make your opponent look bad. Can you outperform your opponent to win the day (and the promotion)?
This game contains a premium upgrade called UV Coating that makes the printed components more durable.
This game contains laser cut components. Laser cut items will have a slight amount of soot around the edges, which can easily be wiped off; and will have a campfire smell for about a week after you open them.
