[Note: I am currently researching how to modify games in a regular deck of cards to how it would work in The Colors RSP Deck. As I get them done, I will make them available as a free PDF. So, check back from time to time to see how I am progressing.]
A standard deck of cards is quite old now, and many games can be played with it. Could a deck of cards be designed that provides even better interaction and game play than our standard deck? Well, given such games as Pokemon, Magic the Gathering, and Yugi Oh, we might be able to say there is room for some improvements. But, these other games mentioned are specialized games. I am wondering if it is possible to construct a new deck that yields some great flexibility in a general way to appeal to everyone. I am happy to report that the wait is over!! May I have a drum roll, please!! Using my best oratory skills a la P.T. Barnum--Step right up! Step right up! Introducing the new deck of cards--The Colors RSP Deck of Cards!!
This is a new deck of cards with 54 cards in the deck. The deck has six suits of colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. The values are Ace, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, Rock, Scissors, and Paper. The Ace can be high or low as in the standard deck of cards. However, the Rock, Scissors, and Paper intertwine creating exciting dynamism in the deck.
A two-tier system of evaluation now emerges to value hands as in how a poker game would be played with this deck. Here I am introducing this deck on youtube.
I have created some games now for this deck of cards. Here I am showing how to play Klondike Colors.
This next game is a game I call Pyramid Solitaire (for obvious reasons).
This is a two-deck Solitaire game called High Noon.
I have invented a two player game called Red Rock that is like Black Jack, except it is modified for this deck of cards and modified to be a two-player card game, not a casino game.
The next game is a serious game called Modern Colors Bridge. Just like Bridge with a standard deck of cards, Modern Colors Bridge is kind of what this game would be like with the Colors RSP Deck of Cards. However, I tweaked the rules a little bit to make things better. I have a playlist on YouTube where I discuss this game. The link will play both parts back to back.
