In Commonagrams (a combination of "common" and "anagrams", pronounced com • mon • a • grams), players only score points by forming the same words as other players. This forces all players to play to the same level, so anyone can win!
In traditional word games, players are rewarded for knowing and playing unique words, big words, and/or more words than other players. This often makes word games predictable, as you have a very good guess who will win before the game even starts.
In Commonagrams, players only write 1 word, thus negating a large vocabulary. They also attempt to write the same word that other players have written, making unique words bad. And depending on who you're playing with, big words won't work either.
This means all players will have to play to the same level! Because that's the case, it's anyone's guess who will score the most points.
