What is CST?

Conquest of Sword & Thread is a trading card game that's simple to learn, filled with unique lore, and homage to various nerdoms that players will get a kick out of (if they can find all the easter eggs!) CST is based in the fantasy world of Odessa where you'll learn of the Empire of Thread and their attempted conquest over the world of man, elves, dwarves, and all living things. Harness the power of the Human Pirate faction who have a strong balance of attack & health to push back the Empire of Thread! Every card tells (more of) a grand story!

When we designed CST the goal was to make a game that didn't have the complexities other TCGs have while also being more geared towards new and adult audiences. For example, Poke'mon is an incredibly fun and simple TCG but it's artwork and style was always directed more towards younger generations. More adult (at least in terms of artwork) styled TCGs like Magic The Gathering or even the CCGs from the Star Trek/Star War days can be very complicated and tough to get into, especially for those new to TCGs.

It's our hope that this game will be a fun way to bridge the gap for players wanting to explore more into this space!
