ConVersus

You and your opponents are aiming to prove who has the greatest social strength by determining which one of you is best at steering conversations. You will try to subtly direct the conversation to cause your opponents to say the words that are hidden in your hand, even as all of the other players are trying to divert the conversation to topics more of their liking.

Each time one of the others in the group says a word that is on one of the cards in your hand, you discard that card. Win by being the first player to empty all of the cards from your hand.

ConVersus pushes boundaries as it can be played anywhere you are, as long as you can have a conversation. Going shopping with others? ConVersus! Eating dinner with others? ConVersus! Playing another board game? ConVersus at the same time! Going to a movie? Please be considerate and don’t ConVersus. (You could still do it, it’s just not polite to those around you.)
