You are a young corsair commanding a raft navigating the Mississippi. The die tells you where to move around the island and when to land on it. Take the treasure coins you deserve and return to the tumultuous waters. While sailing you can attack other rafts and fight for more coins, if you use your sling catapult wisely, you can steal your opponents coins increasing your riches and decreasing theirs. The die can also activate or deactivate the Letter of Marque allowing you to double the coins you can win.
The game continues until all the Treasure Island coins have been distributed to the players. The winner is whoever possesses the most coins at the end of the game.
There are no limits on the number of players or playing time, both can be increased or decreased as desired, as long as additional playsets and coins are available.
The game sets are distinguished by the cardinal points, (N, E, S, W) and (NE, SE, SW, NW). Each set can be played by 2 to 7 players. By combining 2 game sets, the number of players can be increased to 14 vessels.
