Description

Overview-Header.png

Deep underground, the dwarves are working diligently in the mines. Racing through the tunnels in mine carts, they're busy finding treasures, dragon eggs, and running from the Mother Dragons.

Meanwhile, you're hard at work on the surface in your forge, using whatever you can from the mines to craft your wares. But be vigilant! Other smiths are after the valuable resources and the dragon eggs too!

Gather your materials, craft your items, and be sure to sell them while the demand is high. Collect as many eggs as you can. Using the heat of your forge, hatch those eggs before your shop closes for the day!

Start-Round-Banner.png

At the start of each round, you will place one of the four cards in your hand directly above your board. Take a cube from the Mine matching the resource on the card and place it onto a table in your shop.

These cards will now be the new recipes for the following round. You and the other smiths can now look ahead and prepare for what is available to craft next round.

Next, you will draw cubes to the Surface matching the resources shown on the 3 cards left in your hand. Each player will do this.

After placing the cubes to the surface, you will then take three separate turns before the end of the round. On a single turn you will:

  • Draw a cube from the surface

  • Place that cube onto an empty table on your board

  • Perform one of five actions (Optional)

Use the Research action to discard any number of cards from your hand and draw that many cards from your deck back into your hand.

Use the Rearrange action to shuffle around any cubes or items in a single row or column.

Use the Craft action to craft any number of items that match any of the available recipes. The recipe may be rotated. Remove the 3 cubes you used to craft and place the token of the crafted item onto one those 3 spaces.

If you used another players recipe, that player may take any colored cube from the Mine and place it on their board. The same happens if another player crafts using your recipe.

If you planned carefully, you may use a combo of cubes to craft multiple items. This allows you to craft more items while using less cubes. You must place your crafted item to replace the cube that was NOT used in the combo.

Sell-Banner.png

Use the sell action to remove any number of crafted items from your board. The 3 cards you have in hand determine the demand for that item and also how much the items will sell for.

Place the tokens off of the board to the side matching the numbers printed on the outside of the board. If you have one matching card in hand, place those sold tokens to the left. If you have no matching cards in hand, those sold items are worthless and are removed from the game.

At the end of the game, these items are tallied up for what they were sold for and the player with the most wins!

Use the trade action to remove two same-colored cubes from your board and gain a Dragon Egg of that color. The Dragon Egg will start on top of the "1" Dragon Egg icon.

Advancing the Dragon Egg is a bonus to the craft action. If you are able to craft an item into the same column as a Dragon Egg then the Dragon Egg will advance to the next numbered icon.

If you advance the egg passed 3, move the token off and above your board. It will be worth 4 points at the end of the game. Dragon Eggs left on the board at the end of the game will be worth the amount of the number they are on.

End-Round-Banner.png

The round ends when the last cube from the surface is taken and that player finishes their turn. You will then:

  • Pass the first player marker to the left
  • Take the card you placed above your board at the start of the round, and place it on top of your current recipe; creating a new recipe for the next round
  • Draw a card from your deck
  • Start a new round

Scoring-Banner.png

The game ends when all of the tokens of a single item have been crafted. Players will then count up the total of their sold tokens and Dragon Eggs. The player with the most wins!

Notes

  • This game contains a premium upgrade called UV Coating that makes the printed components more durable.
  • This game contains laser cut components. Laser cut items will have a slight amount of soot around the edges, which can easily be wiped off; and will have a campfire smell for about a week after you open them.
