What is Cross Blade: Dungeons?

Cross Blade: Dungeons - The Catacombs is a quick-playing, solo dungeon-delve Adaptable Card Game where all players, and enemies, share three community draw piles to power up their unique characters. Taking your first steps into the depths may seem daunting at first, but finding gear and items to help in your journey will see you through to the bottom. Whether or not you can defeat the ruler of the Catacombs, the Lich, is another story.

A simple game packed with tons of strategy, replayability, and customization, this trek into the Dungeon should be memorable every time. Fight the monsters, gather your bounty, and challenge the boss, all while conserving your cards to make sure you have enough strength to fight when you get there!

What is an Adaptable Card Game?

Unlike most Traditional Trading Card games, Cross Blade comes with all of the cards you need to play with in each set. But what is unique about Cross Blade is that rather than focusing on collecting, it focuses on replayability.

The core system of Cross Blade was designed to be versatile, allowing MANY ways to play the game with the same contents of each box. This will allow the game to grow exponentially, making sure no cards ever drop off and are usable in any way you and your friends would like to play! Compact, yet Robust.

While Cross Blade ACG: Dungeons - The Catacombs only contains 123 cards, already there are at least four ways to play with one variant, doubling that number! Not to mention, with the core system of the game, it is infintely exponential, where no two games will be alike no matter the style of play you choose.

Unique Deck System.

Rather than constructing individual decks to then fight your way through the dungeon, a new perspective was taken to the field of battle. Having three decks, shared amongst all players and enemies, at your disposal gives the opportunity not only to stack the odds in your favor, but to put obstacles in your opponents way. Yet, even still, the denizens of the deep have the same opportunity against you...

Most Playable Characters have a preffered card type: Melee, Support, or Ranged. This opens the opportunity to stack cards you might never see in piles you will never touch, but that your enemies rely on. Soon, with the upcoming Construction Kit, you will be able to craft your perfect plan to win against your foes!

No Need for Dice.

With everything tracked by cards and their placement, from Health to your Ultimate Ability, cards are your only component. To help with affordability and setup time, this was designed specifically with the Player in mind.

Cross Blade ACG is a product focused on quality, speed and easy of play, and replayability/expandability for intruiging and growing levels of content. It is an excellent introductory game to the genre as well as a tool to grow understanding of board games as a whole. Not to mention, intuitive play will keep veterans and newbies alike invested in their play!
