Interested? Awesome! More Detailed Info Below.//

Welcome to Cybervoid: The Cyberpunk Deckbuilding Game, where the neon-lit streets of Neo Tokyo become your battleground. In a city divided by corporate greed and rebellion, five powerful factions fight for dominance in a world where urban warfare meets corporate oppression. Will you side with ruthless megacorporations or lead an uprising from the underworld?

Build your deck, augment Heroines, and surge assassins to claim victory—whether by triggering riots, inflicting deadly poison, or shifting the environment in your favor. With ever-changing events and powerful cybermod enhancements, you'll need strategy, cunning, and a touch of cybernetic augmentation to survive.

Step into the shadows, choose your faction, and shape the future of Neo Tokyo—before it shapes you. The war for control starts here.

To enhance immersion even further, listen to "Cybervoid: Rise of the Rebellion" on your preferred streaming platform—an album created exclusively for this game! If you're interested in high-quality audio, I’ll send you the full album in .WAV format with the purchase of the game—just contact me.

For those wanting to dive deeper into the world of Cybervoid, there’s already a roughly 30-page lore document written, detailing the factions, their origins, and the Cybervoid conflict. If you’re into reading, feel free to reach out!

Cybervoid - World & Gameplay

Factions: Players represent one of five factions (Hera Industries, Izanami Corporation, Netrunner Collective, Cyber Geisha Sisterhood, or Neo Tokyo Syndicate), each with unique strategies and abilities tied to the cyberpunk world.

Deckbuilding: Players start with an identical basic deck and recruit more powerful cards from the Virtual Vault and Virtual Haven. These include Member, Assassin, Cybermod, and Heroine cards. Effective deck management is key for overpowering opponents.

Health & Experience Points (HP & XP): Each player begins with 50 HP and a small amount of XP, both of which are tracked. XP helps unlock abilities and contriutes to a dynamic gameplay with triggering changing environemnts. HP determines whether you survive — dropping to 0 HP results in elimination.

Game Phases:

  1. Main Phase: Play cards to gain resources, activate abilities, recruit cards.
  2. Damage Phase: Allocate damage to enemies.
  3. End Phase: Discard unused cards and prepare for the next round.

Card Types:

  • Leaders: Represent factions and powerful effects, with a unique "engage" ability usable once per game.
  • Members: Can be recrutied to your deck and offer effects when played.
  • Assassins: Can be recruited or surged for immediate use.
  • Cybermods: Equip to Heroines to strengthen their abilities.
  • Heroines: Strong units that remain in play until defeated.
  • Glitch, Event, and Environment Cards: Special cards that modify gameplay even further.

Riot Mechanic: By accumulating Riot Points (RP), players can trigger one of two game-altering states — Resistance Uprising or Corporate Supremacy — depending on whether they achieve a positive or negative RP total. These states drastically affect cards and resources in play.

Poison Stacks (PS): PS reduce a leader’s maximum HP and can have fatal consequences at higher levels if left untreated.

Events: Events are powerful, one-time cards that trigger when a player enters the Riot state. The leader responsible for the riot can choose an event card from the event deck, which can significantly impact the game's outcome.

Environments: Environments alter the game’s conditions permanently until another environment card is played. They are triggered when players reach certain XP milestones. These cards create unique advantages or challenges and remain in play until another environment card is played.
