In this game, you are cultists trying to summon powers beyond understanding.
Unfortunately, no one can perform these rituals alone. And no one who knows these rituals is trustworthy, not even yourself. If the opportunity presents itself, you would sacrifice others for even greater
Who can you trust among cultists with shattered souls? And whom can you betray without consequence?
Secrecy is paramount, and knowledge is power. Do not let others have power over you.
The game is played with 4-12 players. Players start with blue soul cards, which score points at the end of the game, and red corruption cards, which reduce the score, depending on the number of players. Players shuffle their cards in secrecy and keep them hidden.
The Head Conjurer and two Collaborators are chosen, and each of these players places one card face down on the table. The cards are then shuffled together, and when they are revealed, players gain points for each blue soul card and lose points for each red corruption card.
Players can accuse others of playing red corruption cards before the cards are shuffled. Correct accusations earn the accuser points from the accused player, while incorrect accusations lead to a loss of two points.
When the ritual is completed, a new Head Conjurer is chosen, and the game continues. The player with the most points in tokens at the end of the game wins.
