This game was co-designed with faculty and students in the field of medical education. The goal was to create an interactive environment where future researchers can practice responding to peer reviews and build essential skills in academic communication and feedback.
In Dear Reviewer 2, players take turns acting as Reviewer 2, responding to academic reviews with either agreement or disagreement, fostering critical thinking and collaborative discussion. This approach helps players understand the academic review processes and develop strategies for constructive responses.
Designed with emerging researchers in mind, this game encourages thoughtful debate and teamwork, making it a valuable tool for both academic and professional development.
NOTE: This is a fundraising initiative. All proceeds from these games sales will go towards funding further research and innovation at McMaster University.
