Diss Ability is a fun, thought-provoking card game that highlights invisible disabilities while promoting empathy and understanding. The game includes 200 cards across 10 categories of disability, such as mental health, chronic conditions, and sensory issues.
Here’s how it works: Players take turns drawing a card, each featuring a humorous or insightful "diss." They read it aloud, and the group votes on who the card applies to most. The player with the most votes gets the card but can rebut and explain why it doesn’t apply. If the group changes their vote, the card is reassigned. If there’s no majority, the card is discarded.
Players who collect three cards from different categories are eliminated, but those with visible disabilities can rebut cards that their condition makes more challenging. The last player standing wins!
Perfect for schools, rehab centers, and family game nights, Diss Ability uses humor and gameplay to reveal hidden challenges and spark meaningful conversations about inclusion and diversity.
