How to Play
Set-Up
- Deal out the whole deck, giving each player 4 cards and one player 5 cards.
- The player with 5 cards will go first.
- Note: If any player has three or four cards of the same type in their opening hand, all players discard their current hands, and a new round of dealing begins.
Winning
- Once a player has four of a kind and successfully passes off the 5th card, all players reveal their hands.
- Everyone wins! ...except for the player left holding The Tab.
Gameplay
- The player with five cards puts one card face down to pass to the player on their right.
- The receiver can either accept the card or ask for a second card.
- If a second card is requested, the player with five cards puts another card face down.
- The receiver then chooses between the two cards or asks for a third card.
- If a third card is requested, it must be accepted.
- The cards that are not chosen by the receiver will be returned to their owner’s hand.
- Once a card is selected by the receiver, the player with 5 cards will now pass to their right.
Additional Rules
- Table talk, lying, and all other forms of trickery and deceit are permitted and encouraged throughout the game.
- The game is intended to be highly collaborative unless you are holding The Tab.
- Have fun and DON’T PICK UP THE TAB.
